Visiting cherry blossom viewing spots in Kyoto! Kamogawa Delta, Takasegawa, hidden spots, etc.

There are many cherry blossom viewing spots in Kyoto, but this time we will introduce spots that you can walk around relatively without admission fees.

The cherry blossoms that you can see in the moment in the city are surprisingly picturesque.

You can enjoy the cherry blossoms without paying the admission fee by going to the temples and shrines.

Let's start from Kiyamachi Sanjo, the downtown area of Kyoto.

Kiyamachi Sanjo. Looking at the Takase River around Sanjo Kobashi.

The nearest station is Sanjo station, which is about a 3-minute walk.

The cafe along the river is fashionable. The whole area is urban, and the cherry blossoms are a little urban.

Sakura is an amazing plant that looks good in nature and in the cityscape.

The cherry blossoms that are not so unnatural and harmonious with buildings and asphalt are amazing.

Next, take the Keihan Electric Railway from "Sanjo Station" and get off at "Demachiyanagi Station" to the Kamogawa Delta.

I don't think tourists know it, but this is a mecca for cherry blossom viewing by Kyoto people.

A truly amazing person. Cherry-blossom viewing of college students' circles, cherry-blossom viewing of company colleagues, etc.

Maybe I was relieved that the tourists didn't know about it, so Maiko also went to see the cherry blossoms!

This is a picture. As expected. I hope there aren't any more people around.

There are almost no tourists around, so cameramen don't get together and it doesn't make much noise.

By the way, the Kamogawa Delta is a delta where the Kamo and Takano rivers merge to form the Kamo river.

It is a place of relaxation for Kyoto people, with people sitting on the lawn drinking beer and playing the guitar.

It's close to the city, but it's a little out of the city, so it's a mysterious spot where you can feel at ease.

The area near Demachiyanagi Station is also in full bloom. If you go north as it is, you will reach Shimogammo Shrine.

Go further north and go towards the Kamo River this time.

Sakura along the Kamo River. There are more cherry blossoms around here. You can enjoy the composition of "Mt. Hiei and Sakura" with a good view.

Actually, this is the most recommended cherry blossom viewing spot in Kyoto.

I am writing another article, so if you are interested, please.

The best cherry blossom viewing in Kyoto! [Sakura of Kamogawa] Cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms, cherry blossoms, whether you walk or walk!

Further north, Iwakura has many cherry blossom viewing spots.

I have written some related articles here as well, so please have a look if you are interested.

It doesn't appear in the guidebook! A little-known cherry blossom viewing spot that even Kyoto people do not know

This is also Iwakura. 1 minute walk from Kokusaikaikan Station. The waterside and cherry blossoms look great.

There are still many hidden cherry blossom viewing spots in Kyoto.
