[Jizo-in] Early December is the best time to see the autumn leaves, which may be the latest in Kyoto!

The best time to see the autumn leaves in Kyoto is around the end of November. From November 25th to December 1st.

However, there are spots for autumn leaves that are in full bloom from early December to 10th.

That is "Takeno-ji Temple Jizo-in". It's not very famous, but in fact,

It was selected in 1993, the very beginning of the "Yes, Kyoto, let's go" campaign!

It's surprising. I mean, I'm introducing this campaign, where it was quite aggressive.

To get to "Takeno-ji Temple Jizo-in", get off at Kyoto Bus "Kokedera Suzumu-ji" and walk for 3 minutes.

Get off at "Kamikatsura Station" on the Hankyu Arashiyama Line and walk for 12 minutes.

It is located in a quiet place through a residential area. It's a little-known spot.

And the above picture is November 29th. It was fast at all! !!

Originally, the maple leaves that turned red on the moss should have fallen off. ..

Was it still early?

Well, it's a little colored leaves.

After all, I'm rushing when November is just around the corner. ..

However, at "Takeno-ji Temple Jizo-in", you should wait carefully.

Bamboo is magnificent because it is said to be a bamboo temple.

There are many attractions other than the autumn leaves.

The main approach was still in full bloom, but the precincts are in full bloom.

It's still a little-known spot without people.

It's a difficult place to go.

It's nice to be quiet enough to feel the sound of stepping on the pebbles on the approach.

Opening of Muso Soseki. Ikkyu spent time with his mother here until he was six years old.

Let's spend calm and peaceful days.

The main hall is also simple. This is a little-known spot.

You can do it slowly.

I was thinking of stopping by and going to the next spot for autumn leaves, but I stayed for a long time.

It's cozy.

No, there is no one. You won't be rushed.

Cross the main hall and see another garden.

It is a garden that is not a dry landscape garden.

Even though Muso Soseki is open.

It looks like a normal garden, but it's still nice.

Ikkyu also spent time here.

Doesn't the phrase you heard in Tonchi remember?

Surprisingly, I laughed at the place where it was meha.

Is this this?

A collaboration between autumn leaves and bamboo grove.

No, let's come to the best time without rushing this time.

Probably around December 10th.

You can already hear the sound of jingle bells in the city, but I think there is still autumn here.

Looking forward to the day when we can come again.
