Oyakodon “Torishin” in Gion, Kyoto, which is related to Ryoma Sakamoto
"Torishin" is located in a super prime location facing Gion and Shirakawa in Kyoto.
"Torishin", which appears in Ryotaro Shiba's "Ryoma Goes His Way," is this shop before the move.
So, as a fan of Ryoma Sakamoto, I definitely want to eat it.
The main store is "Torishin", and the "Torishin" right next to it is the cleanliness of only Oyakodon for lunch.
I came to the store on Sunday afternoon, just after 12:00.
Well no one. It's hard to enter. Are you really doing it? It's so quiet.
It's hard to tell if it's a shop because it's a part of the landscape.
But well, I'm sure I'm doing it because it's covered with goodwill.
Surprisingly there is no line.
Of course there are signs, so I'm doing it. Oyakodon. It says that it is sold out in a limited quantity.
I'm doing it, but I don't really try to attract customers. Well, a business style that seems to be a long-established store in Kyoto.
inside of shop. Narrow! The elongated store has 5 or 6 seats at the counter and 2 tables.
In terms of size, it feels like a standing soba restaurant.
Customers are almost full in about 10 minutes from the opening. But it's not so crowded as to make a line, it's just right.
The inside of the store is quiet. You can often hear the rattling noise of the shopkeeper's eggs.
However, the atmosphere is perfectly fine even with children.
This is the kitchen. Yes, it's narrow. At first, my husband was serving customers alone, but the landlady appeared on the way.
However, it's kind of unfriendly whether it's such a face originally. He hardly talks and makes tea when he runs out of tea.
Jajan. Oyakodon is here! The yolk is yellow, or it is no longer orange. I want to call it orange.
Oh, that would be another food.
Yeah, the taste is perfect. Thick egg, crispy Kujo green onion, delicious meat, good!
The thick texture of the egg goes well with the rice cooked in small grains.
Chicken also uses various parts such as peach and breast, and it is fun to have different tastes.
However, it's pelori. I wonder if this amount was enough because the old Japanese were small.
The garnished pickles are also elegant and refreshing. The soup is rich and dashi is effective.
I thought it would be difficult to enter with children, even if the unfriendly landlady didn't say anything
When the child was trying to get hot, he served a bowl for the child and was surprisingly kind.
It doesn't feel like you're staying so long, so it's convenient to take a quick walk around Gion with a parent-child bowl.
Even so, I don't want to go to the main store "Torishin".
