Not just aquariums and railway museums! Oasis “Umekoji Park” near Kyoto Station
A 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station, Umekoji Park is an urban oasis.
Because there are two major sightseeing spots on the premises, "Kyoto Aquarium" and "Kyoto Railway Museum", near Kyoto Station.
Although it is not well known nationwide, it is a park familiar to Kyoto citizens.
It is also familiar as a park that can be seen through the train window when going from JR Kyoto Station to Osaka.
Anyway, it's close to Kyoto station, so sightseeing in Kyoto is over.

It's close to the station, but it's huge. The reason was probably that it was originally a warehouse for railroad cars.

If you go by car, there is a parking lot on the west side of the park, so it is a good duck to use.
