“Kyoto Tavern Akamaru” An introductory izakaya in Kyoto.




"Kyoto Tavern Akamaru" is a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Shijo Station and a 10-minute walk from Karasuma Station.

Next door is "Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shijo", so it is especially recommended for hotel guests.

An introductory izakaya where you can enjoy various Kyoto specialties within a 0-minute walk.

The store is also a renovated Machiya, so tourists can especially enjoy the Kyoto atmosphere.

When you pass through the gate, you will find Kyoto-like cobblestone slopes and Japanese umbrellas that are easy to understand.

However, since it's an izakaya, it doesn't feel like it's stiff, and it has a casual atmosphere.

I wonder if there are many tourists inside the store, but probably because it is in the back alley, there are many local customers in Kyoto.

Locally-based shops are rather nice for tourists.

The clerk is just a young part-time worker. It's so low that you can't see the threshold.

There are about 10 table seats and about 16 tatami mats in the back. It's pretty squeaky.

It is prosperous.

When I found out that this was a child, I was grateful that he passed me to the tatami room in the back where there were no customers yet.

It's a little isolated from the cigarettes of office workers, and you don't have to worry about the children being noisy.

This kind of thing is basic but thankful.

The menu is made in Kyoto, so I'm grateful to tourists.

That's why I ordered the Kyoto specialty on-parade. First of all, Kamo eggplant Miso Dengaku. A simple dish with the surface of miso baked.
